Texas Sidecar Company invites all comers to their fifth annual Open House on March 29, 2025. Located at 210 Elm Street in Teague, the factory opened in 2023.
TSC has a long history and is a Texas success story. Owners Kent and Ana Silk purchased in 2019 what was then a small operation, originally founded in 2000 and had just three sidecar models. They first set up shop in Houston, then relocated to Donie. With continued rapid growth and their acquisition of DMC Sidecar out of Washington state, they opened a factory in Teague.
Kent now runs the factory in Teague, while Ana manages what has become their upholstery shop still in Donie. Last year, in 2024, England-based Watsonian Squire, the world’s largest sidecar manufacturer, contracted TSC to build sidecars for them in the U.S. TSC now has 31 models in their wheelhouse.
Participants in the Motorcycle Grand Tour of Texas will find the TSC Open House an excellent opportunity to visit this official tour stop. They have a chance to take a photo, tour the factory, and sit down for free lunch at noon.
The Lone Star Rider, MCGTTX’s only “mobile tour stop,” has been known in past years to show up for the TSC Open House, giving riders yet another photo/point opportunity. Lone Star rider travels the state of Texas raising awareness and funds for the American Diabetes Association.
Include your copy of Ride Texas magazine in the photo for even more tour points!
