Chapter Membership Application
We are the S.T.A.R. of Dallas, Dallas, Texas. Our Chapter is a fully licensed charter of the “Star Touring and Riding Association.” Our Chapter was formed on Saturday, July 28, 2001 and received it’s Charter #172 on September 4, 2001.
The S.T.A.R. of Dallas meets on the first Saturday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Maxim Honda Yamaha, 420 Central Expressway South, Allen, Texas 75013. The exception is those Saturdays that fall on a holiday weekend. In this event, the meeting will be held on the second Saturday of the month. Generally (depending on weather), our meetings will be followed or preceded by a Chapter ride. In addition, we have at least one (1) ride a month that will be 6 – 8 hours in duration. Each ride has been pre-ridden by chapter representatives. This entails route planning, meal, fuel and destination stops.
We take great pride in our Chapter’s safety record. All rides are structured around safe riding practices and continued rider education.
The S.T.A.R. of Dallas of Star Touring and Riding has been recognized by S.T.A.R. National for its member involvement, organization, and safety.
S.T.A.R. Members may elect to purchase a “Large STAR back patch” from STAR Headquarters for $35.00. S.T.A.R. of Dallas members may elect to purchase a “S.T.A.R. Chapter #172 Rocker.” A one- time License Fee of $8.00 is payable upon issue of the “S.T.A.R., Chapter #172 Rocker.” The “Chapter Rocker” is the sole property of the S.T.A.R. of Dallas, Chapter #172, of S.T.A.R. Touring & Riding, and must be returned to the chapter upon demand.
