BEAUMONT, Texas —The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau welcomes the Texas State H.O.G. Rally, May 12-15. The event is expected to bring in roughly $2,992,400 to Beaumont’s economy. Persistent CVB sales and marketing efforts, along with the help of the local HOG Chapter, and Ford Park made hosting the event in Beaumont a reality.
“We are glad we have the opportunity to host the rally in Beaumont again,” says Dean Conwell, Executive Director for the Beaumont CVB. “The last time it was brought to Beaumont, it was a huge success and had a significant impact on our local economy,” he continues. “We are anticipating the same result next year.”
Over 5,000 H.O.G. members from Texas and surrounding states attended the event in 2002 when it was held at the Montagne Center at Lamar University. Hosted by the Cowboy Harley Owners Group (HOG) Chapter of Beaumont, the 2011 rally will be held at Ford Park Event Center, located at 5115 Interstate 10. Other events will also take place throughout the city, including at the Beaumont Cowboy Harley Davidson Dealership, located at 1150 Interstate 10 (77707).
