This is Texas? The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is reporting that the Panhandle and portions of Northwest Texas were blasted early last week with an unprecedented blizzard that delivered 75 mph wind gusts and as much as 20 inches of snow, closing roadways throughout the area.
The Texas State Parks Photo Contest on Flickr will run between March 1 and April 30. Photographers could win any number of prizes, including a video camera courtesy of Whole Earth Provision Company, and more.
