I've only been riding for 3 yrs, but have more miles than most riding a whole lot longer. I started on a Honda 600 Shadow. One Saturday went to Lando (yep...Coopers
After Ne. rode to Al. & Tn. then took a trip ( between 2 hurricanes- so now have expierence in VERY inclimate weather) to see my son in Jacksonville, Fl. and rode to Key West ( BEAUTIFUL!). Last year I did ( what I always wanted to do) rode my bike to STURGIS, but not the direct route, lol. Went through N.M., Co., Ut then into NV., back into Ut., Wy & then SD. Had one of the best times of my life! Of-couse I couldn't have done it without my loving "Trail Boss" of 5 yrs. The above mentioned trip was on my '05 Dyna but we did just go from June 4 to June 7th back to Ne. (outside of Omaha) on my Road King. Looking forward to a lot more rides on my beautiful "Blue Velvet".

I'm guessing you're gonna love the Road King. The difference in rider comfort between that and a Dyna when riding long distances is H-U-G-E. Keep us posted on what you're doing next and come back often to the RT Forum. -------------------- Wm. M. (Bill) Hendryx

Just joined but no pix of my ride yet. Brand new SUzuki C50T (800CC V-twin) blue and white not the black version. been riding the Texas Hill COuntry around Kerrville and am loving it! The bike is sweet and since it is the first bike for mmy wife and I it is just the right size for us to cruise yet stay under control. Have joined the VFW M/C Riders and have a few other groups in mind ZAround Kerrville. I am organizing a Toy Run for the Salvation Army here in Kerrville. November 13 is the date with more details to follow and I will be promoting on Ride in Texas as soon as I finalize the details. We hope to get a lot of support and get a lot of toys for the kids here in town.

Sounds like you and the wife are in for lots of fun, and it also sounds like you live in the very HEART of the best riding country in Texas. I'm jealous!! Be sure, when you have time, to fill out your profile page (everybody needs to do this) so we can learn a little more about you. We hope you enjoy our growing little forum and come back often.
